In Memory of Ahmet Burhan Atac

This water well is in Memory of Ahmet Burhan Atac, an 8-year-old Turkish boy who lost his life to cancer. This terrible ordeal happened while his father was in jail and his mother was being tried on fabricated charges. This illustrates the gravity and extent of blatant violations of fundamental human rights in Turkey.

The death of Ahmet Burhan Atac reveals the plight of children caught up in Turkey’s massive purge.

We would like to remind everyone that these innocent people will not be forgotten forever!
