On March 11th, the World Health Organization (WHO) deemed the Coronavirus as a worldwide pandemic, causing wide-spread panic. The WHO urges everyone to stay clean and avoid large crowds. Unfortunately, there are approximately 70,000 refugees currently placed into overcrowded and unsanitary refugee camps meant to hold only 6,200 people in Greece. This creates a place for the Coronavirus to fester and spread faster and become more aggressive. With a donation of just $25.00, you can help refugees get sanitizing supplies and help Embrace Relief place more refugee families in safe housing.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected people all around the world and is impacting every aspect of life. This time of crisis is not easy for anyone and is especially difficult for refugees in Greece as they cannot practice social distancing or self-quarantining due to overcrowded, unsanitary camps.
Embrace Relief is dedicated to helping those who are in need the most which is why we help refugees find a house, support 60 families with rent payments so they can stay isolated, distributed food to 580 families, provide English classes via video meetings to 60 students and 89 adults, and have pro-bono lawyers who provide refugees and asylum seekers with legal advice.
Through the Refugee Relief program, thousands of refugees have been helped during their toughest times and Embrace Relief is still here to help them through this time of incredible uncertainty.
