Start a Chapter

Embrace Relief is now accepting applications for
school & community chapters across the United States!

Now it’s even easier to be a part of the effort for benevolence. You can start a chapter at your high school / college, in your workplace, or in your community. Existing university clubs can also partner with Embrace Relief to become the recognized ER chapter in their university. Members of an Embrace Relief local chapter will work closely with the ER representative in their region.

Why start a chapter?

The purpose of our chapters are to encourage, and promote community participation and interest in our ongoing projects. By establishing a chapter through Embrace Relief, you are contributing to a worldwide effort to help those in need. Our Chapter Projects are open to community members, students, or any group looking to give back to their local or international communities. You can travel with your group to the country of your project, and work hands on, and explore their culture. You will also develop leadership skills, and build your professional resume by highlighting all of the nonprofit and volunteer work you have accomplished. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life and from different cultures to work together, and join hand in hand to give back to your community.

Who can start a chapter?

You have to have at least three volunteers to start a chapter, who are willing to organize a chapter project, and also participate in at least two Embrace Relief campaigns during a given year. If you are under 18, you will need to have an adult in your crew who will work as a chapter adviser/chaperon. Chapters at high schools and universities will also have to fulfill any and all requirements established by the school or college in which they are enrolled. To start a chapter your group must first fill out a chapter application. Once an application is approved, groups can begin selecting the project or projects they want to work on. Apply now.
