One of the most powerful ways we can create a healthier, wealthier, and more hopeful world is by providing clean water to those who need it most. Today, more than 800 million people live in water-scarce areas. Without access to safe water, communities face deadly waterborne diseases, food insecurity, and daily hardship.
That’s why Embrace Relief launched its Clean Water Initiative to deliver lasting solutions and restore dignity, health, and opportunity through every drop.
Since 2013, we’ve been working across the African continent, building and restoring water wells in Chad, Cameroon, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, and now Benin. Each well we complete becomes the heart of a community, serving schools, families, farmers, and future generations with reliable, life-saving clean water.
When you donate to Embrace Relief’s Clean Water Campaign, you’re not just funding a project. You’re transforming lives.

Warranty For All Wells
To date, Embrace Relief has built or reconstructed more than 1,100 water wells, giving clean water access to over 1,100,000 people. These wells are built using detailed, site-specific engineering, ensuring they are durable and sustainable. Every well includes a minimum five-year warranty, along with annual maintenance checkups—because our commitment doesn’t end when the well is built.
Cost of Change
Each donation comes with the opportunity to name your well, turning your generosity into a legacy of compassion.

Reliable. Sustainable. Built to Last.
Our wells are built to a depth of approximately 147 feet, deep enough to tap into clean underground aquifers and avoid surface contaminants. With an easy-to-use hand pump and a 5-year warranty that includes annual maintenance and repairs, each well is a reliable, long-term solution for the communities we serve.
Why Water?
Clean water is more than hydration. It unlocks a better quality of life in every way:

Health:
Access to safe water drastically reduces the spread of waterborne illnesses and supports better hygiene and sanitation

Productivity:
With reliable water, communities can grow crops, feed their families, and fuel economic development.

Women’s Empowerment:
Clean water lifts a heavy burden off women and girls, who often spend hours walking to fetch water every day.
A Life-Changing Gift
A single well can serve more than 1,000 people every day for years to come. It’s a gift of time, health, education, and hope. Whether you're funding a new well or helping repair a broken one, your support creates lasting change for communities across Africa.
Join Embrace Relief in bringing clean water to every person, everywhere. Together, we can build a future where no one is left behind.
