Last summer in 2024, we had a family trip to Bosnia. While we were travelling, we ran into a beautiful verse from the holy Quran on a historical fountain saying: “We have made every living thing from water. Will they still not believe?" (Enbiya, 21/30).
That fountain was perhaps over 500 years old and still feeding people to their thirst. We were thankful for the person/people who built this fountain. Then, upon arrival at our home in the USA, we decided to build a water well (cesme) on behalf of a family of five.
Insallah this water well will enable our friends in Africa to access clean water. Thank you ER for organizing such a beautiful project!
