The MSA of the Charter School of Wilmington asks for your kind donations to save the lives of tens of thousands of people who helplessly wait to be rescued after the catastrophic earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

In the wake of the devastating earthquakes that struck Southern Turkey and Syria on the morning of Monday, February 6, 2023, thousands of people are left homeless or still trapped under the rubble, slowly freezing to death, and they need all the help you can give.

As of February 9th, over 17,500 people have lost their lives and the number increases at an alarming rate - there is no time to waste. Hospitals have been destroyed and roads wrecked, and rescue teams are having difficulty reaching the stranded. Thousands of children have been orphaned and thousands of people have lost their family, friends, and neighbors in the catastrophic earthquake of magnitude 7.8, the strongest to hit Turkey in the last century.

To put it into perspective, a region as large as the area from Philadelphia to Boston is affected and the amount of people that died is close to the whole population of Philadelphia. This is by no means a small earthquake - this is a large-scale natural disaster. Your generous donations could save a life - every dollar counts.
