What is Zakat al-Fitr?
In Ramadan, every Muslim should give Zakat al-Fitr before Eid in Ramadan. Zakat al-Fitr is the responsibility of every Muslim to feed a hungry person for one day and is meant to draw attention to the poor. Muslims are obligated to give Zakat al-Fitr for themselves and those under their custody.
