Millions of people around the world, especially those in rural areas of Africa, need access to clean water remains a daily challenge. More than 300 million people in Africa rely on unprotected lakes, rivers, and ponds for water, putting them at risk of life-threatening illnesses and shortened lifespans. To address this urgent need, NEC Platform is collaborating with university students to take action to bring life-saving clean water to communities in Tanzania!
From May 25 – June 7, 2025, a team of dedicated university student volunteers will travel to Tanzania to help open water wells. This effort is being carried out in partnership with Embrace Relief, with the goal of providing a sustainable source of clean water to local communities. We have set an ambitious fundraising goal of $10,000 to make this project a reality. Meeting this goal will allow us to build at least two wells, providing clean water to a minimum of 2,500 people.
