Despite facing its own humanitarian and development challenges, Mali currently hosts more than 165,000 refugees and asylum seekers, from many sub-Saharan countries, who have fled conflict, violence, insecurity, and other hardship conditions.

Many refugee families live in extremely vulnerable conditions, with limited access to food, healthcare, medicines, and other essential services.

Women, children, elderly persons, and people living with disabilities are among the most affected, often struggling to meet their most basic needs.
