Drs. Thomas and Colette Duggan were devoted parents to four children and proud grandparents to seven grandchildren. Thomas Duggan (July 1927 – July 2000) was a professor at Wayne State University, known for his passion for research in faith and sociology. Colette Duggan (July 1940 – April 2026) began her career as a public health nurse serving the communities of Detroit before transitioning into education at Henry Ford Community College. She later joined the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, where she made meaningful contributions through her research on quality of life for patients with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. Faith and service were central to their lives. Colette, in particular, dedicated countless hours volunteering with St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Archdiocese of Detroit, always seeking to uplift and support others.
Your generous donation will help continue the important work they began and carry forward their spirit of compassion and service to others. We are deeply grateful for your support and thank all who have helped honor their memory and legacy.
