Youth Academy Fundraiser for Earthquake Victims in Turkey and Syria

In early February, one of the deadliest earthquakes in the past century struck Turkey and Syria, claiming the lives of over 40,000 people, rendering over a million people homeless, and impacting an area as vast as the distance between Philadelphia and Boston. Survivors are struggling to cope with the shortage of food, shelter, and hygiene amidst harsh winter conditions in the region.

As an institution, Youth Academy is committed to providing as much aid as possible to the victims of this disaster. Our institution, based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, works towards enabling high school students in Greater Philadelphia to achieve their personal and professional goals through community building, workshops, and volunteering opportunities.

We are honored to partner with Embrace Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit international humanitarian relief organization that has already raised over a million dollars to support earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
