Building Hope Through Education in Chad
Today, 60 children in Chad, in this school study inside tents. With your support, we can build proper classrooms and create a safe learning environment for 120 students, including 30 orphaned children.
About the Project
The Smiling School serves poor and orphaned children in the remote area of N’Djamena Chad. Despite limited resources, children attend classes daily under tents, facing extreme heat and weather.
This Embrace Relief–supported project aims to build a permanent, modern school, giving children a dignified education and a chance for a better future.

Phase One
First Floor – Urgent Need
- 4 classrooms
- 1 kitchen
- 4 toilets
The basement and walls are already completed. Immediate support is needed to finish the first floor, allowing children to move out of tents and into real classrooms.
Phase Two
Second Floor – Orphan Care & Learning
- 5 bedrooms for orphaned children
- 1 library & study room
- 1 supervisor room
The second phase focuses on long-term care and development for orphaned children
