“Slingerlands Elementary School students have the opportunity to submit a proposal for a community outreach project. This year, the Build a Water Well project proposal, written by 2nd- and 4th-grade siblings, was chosen. Their proposal detailed the importance of ensuring kids just like them (and adults!) have access to clean water– something many of us take for granted each day. As a school, we have talked about the importance of clean water access, and students are eager to play a part in this mission.
