Embrace Relief’s Kenya Entrepreneurial Empowerment Network (K.E.E.N.) Initiative shines as a beacon of hope for women seeking to create their own economic independence. At the Madonna Resource Community Center in Githurai, Kenya, and in partnership with the Lotus Welfare Association, Embrace Relief has developed a sewing training course for local women. This initiative goes beyond sewing machines; it’s about building careers and transforming communities.
How Women Benefit from Being K.E.E.N.
K.E.E.N. equips women in Kenya with the skills and resources needed to embark on their own entrepreneurial journeys. The initiative covers the cost of training courses, provides sewing machines upon graduation, and supports women as they establish their small businesses. Already, 61 women have successfully graduated the program! They now have the skills and the tools they need to be successful.
