Stronger Together

Embrace Relief held the Stronger Together Livestream Fundraiser on Tuesday, May 5th on YouTube. This fundraiser was held to help people in America who have lost their jobs as a result of COVID-19 and who are ineligible for government aid to support them with food, rent, utilities, and medication expenses and provide frontline workers in hospitals with personal protective equipment (PPE)

With your help, we were able to raise over $103,000! The Embrace Relief team would like to say a big “THANK YOU” to all of the viewers who tuned in from home, our special guest speakers, and partner organizations. Although the event is over, the Stronger Together Livestream video can be found on YouTube here.

Guest speakers spoke about a wide array of topics from how to stay positive during quarantine, how the pandemic has affected the media industry, how to maintain the decrease in global warming after quarantine, and much more. These are just some of the inspirational and motivational messages from our speakers:

“Self-confidence is really important. My favorite quote: “If no one believes in you, believe in yourself” — Enes Kanter, Boston Celtics Basketball Player
“Now is the time to show who we really are, not just as Americans but as human beings because now is the time to be stronger together” — Lisa Guerrero, Chief Investigative Correspondent for Inside Edition
