Since 2008, Embrace Relief’s mission has been to provide critical support to vulnerable communities wherever they are. We’ve seen firsthand the powerful impacts we can make globally when we join together to lift up those in need.
Embrace USA is our initiative dedicated to bringing that same impact to our neighbors right here in the United States!
The goal of Embrace USA is to give back to our communities and demonstrate that compassion knows no borders. Our five Embrace USA programs address some of the biggest challenges facing too many American families, including hunger, poverty, and natural disasters.
We accomplish this by building lasting partnerships with local community organizations, enabling us to provide critical aid to families that need it most. Since the beginning of 2025, Embrace USA has already reached more than 40,000 Americans — and you can help us continue to be there for our neighbors in need!
Embracing Zero Hunger
More than 43 million Americans face daily food insecurity, struggling especially to afford healthy options as prices rise. Embrace USA helps to provide thousands of families each year with fresh produce, food packages, and nutritious meals to fill this gap.
23,000+ pounds of fresh produce and nonperishable foods distributed to NJ families from our Mobile Farmers’ Market truck since 2021
35,000 food packages delivered to American families as part of our International Hunger Relief 2024 campaigns
During Embrace USA’s Thanksgiving Turkey Drive 2025, more than 1,600 families received food (including 950+ turkeys), at 17 events held across nine states.
Embracing Families
Nearly 1 in 8 American families with young children live below the poverty line, with far too many unable to afford the basic necessities of a healthy childhood. Embrace USA helps to provide families with the material items they need to support their children.
580+ NJ families and expectant mothers received baby clothes, diapers, wipes, bottles, baby healthcare kits, nursing supplies, and more at Embrace USA-sponsored events in 2025
14,000 people in need received new or used articles of clothing from Embrace USA-sponsored clothing drives and distributions in 2025
Embracing Students
Every child deserves a fair shot at a good education. But children in low-income households face obstacles that hinder their success in the classroom. Embrace USA works to provide children with the tools they need to be prepared for school, including backpacks and school supplies.
4,290 new backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to underprivileged students at Embrace USA partner events around the country prior to the start of the 2025-26 school year
100+ children in Newark, NJ, received Walmart gift cards to purchase school necessities and other goodies, brightening their day and giving them hope.
Embracing Veterans
We are thankful to our nation’s veterans and military families for their service, and we believe that all who have served their country should be celebrated and treated with respect and dignity. aims to support veteran organizations that deliver critical services to those who have sacrificed for our country.
Embrace USA proudly supports organizations providing services to veterans. In 2025, we were a sponsor of Community Hope NJ’s “VetFest”, which supported veterans and their families struggling with poverty, homelessness, and mental health challenges.
Embrace USA is creating events to honor veterans, including a Veterans Day dinner in conjunction with the Disabled Combat Veterans Youth Program and the Turkish Cultural Center of New Jersey.
Embracing Disaster Relief
Natural disasters can strike anywhere, anytime in the U.S. When disaster strikes, families need an urgent, substantial response — and Embrace USA activates our nationwide network of partner organizations to coordinate the delivery of emergency aid to families in need, wherever they may be.
After Hurricanes Milton and Helene struck in late 2024, Embrace USA provided support to the American Red Cross’ relief efforts in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, in addition to partnering with local organizations to provide meals to affected communities through a mobile food truck
In response to the devastating January 2025 wildfires in California, Embrace USA and the Pacifica Institute teamed up to provide financial support, as well as food, water and blankets, to survivors and first responders
Following the deadly July 2025 flash floods in central Texas, Embrace USA and the Raindrop Foundation teamed up to provide more than 1,400 families with food packages, hygiene kits, and other aid to help their recovery
