Empowering Afghan Girls Through Education
Unlocking Potential in Challenging Times

Unlocking Potential in Challenging Times

In Afghanistan, the Learning and Education for Afghan girls’ Rights and Needs (LEARN) Initiative stands as a beacon of hope for high school and college-age girls. LEARN strives to provide unique and life-changing opportunities by giving them the resources they need to access the virtual job market.

Sections of the L.E.A.R.N. Initiative

LEARN offers transformative opportunities for Afghan girls at both high school and university levels. It empowers them, breaks barriers to education, and contributes to personal growth and the development of the country. LEARN provides, at minimum, the cost of the tuition, but can provide skill development programs, learning materials, stable internet access, and mentorship programs for each girl and young woman.

The Significance of Online Education

1. Overcoming Constraints:

Afghan girls often face barriers in attending schools. Online education provides a safe and accessible platform for them to pursue learning from the comfort of their homes.

2. Bridging Educational Gaps:

Afghanistan’s education system has suffered due to prolonged conflict. LEARN addresses this by offering a chance to bridge the educational gap, empowering girls with knowledge and skills for a better future.

3. Empowerment and Economic Opportunities:

LEARN equips Afghan girls with marketable skills, opening doors to job opportunities and economic independence.

4. Promoting Gender Equality:

By promoting education for Afghan girls, LEARN contributes to breaking down traditional barriers and advocating for girls’ right to access quality education and pursue their dreams.

Volunteer Virtually to Teach English

Volunteer Virtually to Teach English!

If you are moved by the struggle of these young women but unable to donate financially, consider donating your time. These girls need a strong understanding of English to excel in their education. They have a basic knowledge of the language but would benefit greatly from increased practice and a resource to answer their questions. No previous formal teaching experience is required to make a difference. Just two hours a week can change their lives! If interested, please fill out the form below.
