Mrizos Care

School children in grades 7-12 are extremely susceptible and vulnerable to the Coronavirus as schools begin to re-open. Having these kids in close-quarters will increase the likelihood of them spreading or contracting the virus. This is why we have come together to raise funds to keep our children in Johannesburg, South Africa, safe with personal protective equipment (PPE). PPE that we will provide to these children include face masks, antibacterial hand soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant spray. Social distancing will be continuously encouraged and enforced, but we must take every precaution to keep these children safe.  Our team will check if the masks are in good condition and continue to educate the kids on the importance of hygiene, social distancing, and COVID-19. Please help us keep our children safe: They are our future!

Community Welfare Organization

Our Community Welfare Organization works in social work for many different sectors. During this time, the entire world is facing and fighting COVID-19. Therefore, we decided to start a Group FUNdraiser with our Community Center to help people who are poor or financially insecure with food and medical help. Right now, we all have to look out for one another and help in any way we can. Our goal is to help those who do not have access to food or medical resources get the support and assistance they need. Please help us in our mission to keep our community safe and help those less fortunate!

#Stronger Together: Better Than Ever

Last Tuesday, May 5th at 7 pm EST, in partnership with the Enes Kanter Foundation, we hosted our very first livestream fundraising event called “#StrongerTogether” to help those who are currently unemployed and ineligible for government aid as well as help restock the shelves of hospitals nationwide. We were live for almost 4 hours and were joined by over 5,300 people from all around the world from the comfort of their homes. We had 12 amazing speakers from different backgrounds and 3 spiritual leaders who all talked about a wide array of topics such as how to stay positive during uncertain times, how the pandemic has affected the media industry, how to maintain the decrease in global warming when the quarantine is over, and more. All of the guest speakers gave truly inspiring and motivational speeches to our viewers.  Self-confidence is really important. My favorite quote: “If no one believes in you, believe in yourself”  — Enes Kanter, Boston Celtics Basketball Player  “Now is the time to show who we really are, not just as Americans but as human beings because now is the time to be stronger together” — Lisa Guerrero, Chief Investigative Correspondent for Inside Edition “All of us are together in this. We are one human family.” — Thomas Michel, Catholic Priest and Professor at Georgetown And we are thrilled to announce that because of YOU, we have raised over $103,000 after the event!! We couldn’t have done this without each and every one of YOU. This event has truly shown what we can do as a global family coming together as ONE. Again, from the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank YOU for all your help and support which will definitely save the lives of hundreds and thousands of people in need. Allah Rizasi Echin Water Well

This water well is in memory of an 8-year-old Turkish boy who lost his life to cancer. This terrible ordeal happened while his father was in jail and his mother was being tried on fabricated charges. This illustrates the gravity and extent of blatant violations of fundamental human rights in Turkey.

Death of Ahmet Burhan Atac reveals the plight of children caught up in Turkey’s massive purge.

We would like to remind everyone that these innocent people will not be forgotten forever!

Orphan Boarding School in Kyrgyzstan Group FUNdraising

In Kyrgyzstan, a country in Central Asia dominated by agriculture, there are about 20% of school-age children studying in Togolok Moldo, a boarding school located in Bishkek, the capital city. However, in this group of students, the proportion of orphans is more than half (51%), and the rest can’t grow up with their parents.  At Togolok Moldo, students receive a comprehensive education on not only the arts and sciences, but also living skills. Combining the current political and economic situation, the school aims to foster students helping the development of social integration and the local economy. The first graduates achieved their academic goals in China, Turkey, and other international institutions.  Due to every sector of the Kyrgyz economy being hit with extreme severity, resulting in many people who are taking care of orphans losing their jobs, these neglected children at Togolok Moldo need attention from the outside world. Embrace Relief urgently tries to raise $10,000 which will be used to provide a better growth environment and help the school accommodate more orphans.
