The John F. Kennedy Memorial High School Embrace Relief Club was proud to participate in the Multicultural Community Festival hosted by the CJCC Somerset in Franklin Township. The event welcomed thousands of attendees from diverse backgrounds for a day of cultural celebration, community engagement, and service.
Representing both The school and Embrace Relief, club members organized an interactive arcade and game booth that attracted families, children, and community members throughout the festival. The booth provided a fun and engaging space while also creating opportunities to share information about Embrace Relief’s humanitarian mission and the service projects led by our student club.
Through meaningful conversations and community outreach, club members connected with hundreds of visitors, raising awareness about ongoing relief efforts and inspiring others to get involved in charitable work. Thanks to the generosity and support of festival attendees, the club raised $1,300 to support its upcoming humanitarian service trip to Uganda, where students will contribute to projects aimed at assisting communities in need.
More than a fundraising opportunity, the festival served as a powerful reminder of the impact that can be achieved when people come together with compassion, cultural appreciation, and a shared commitment to helping others. The event highlighted the importance of service, unity, and community engagement, values that are at the heart of both Embrace Relief and our student club. The John F. Kennedy Memorial High School Embrace Relief Club extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who visited our booth, supported our efforts, and helped make this event a meaningful success. We look forward to continuing our mission of service and making a positive impact both locally and globally.
