Making Masks for a Better Future

Hello, my friends! Thank you so much for wearing a mask to keep yourself, family, and others safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have been making masks for the past several weeks in an effort to lower the curve of the ever-rising cases we have seen throughout the United States.

I have been making these masks free of charge and giving them to family members, friends, and coworkers but many have expressed the desire to give some form of contribution. Therefore, I kindly ask that you give a General Donation to Embrace Relief to further the many causes they are involved in. Embrace Relief builds water wells, provides international education programs, supports women’s empowerment, provides food, clothes, education, and healthcare to children in orphanages, and raises funds for hunger relief, refugee relief, and disaster relief.

Embrace Relief has helped millions of people around the world through these programs and continues to do so during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have helped distribute over 42,000 masks and 5,065 hot meals to first responders and families in need.

Sweatcoin & Embrace Relief

This past January, Embrace Relief was featured on Sweatcoin‘s crowdfunding platform to raise money for health check-ups in Mali, Africa. Our volunteer doctors drove the Mobile Health Clinic to remote places in Mali and performed 560 check-ups! These check-ups include taking blood pressure, heart rate, breathing capacity, eye exams, hearing exam, scoliosis check, and inspecting any abnormal symptoms, growths, or spots a patient might have. This is done in hopes to fight and prevent the rampant diseases of malaria, cholera, hepatitis, meningitis, polio, rabies, and tuberculosis.

Unfortunately, millions of Malians go their entire lives not seeing a doctor which causes them to suffer from curable and preventable diseases and illnesses. Embrace Relief’s Mobile Health Clinic brings accessible healthcare to thousands of people every year. We are proud to announce that Embrace Relief will be featured on Sweatcoin’s crowdfunding platform again this August to raise funds to build a water well that will provide clean flowing water to over 2,000 people every day for over 5 years.

Project enVISION Group Fundraiser

Project enVISION raised over $700.00 USD for cataract surgeries and health screenings in Mali, Africa. The group was able to cover the cost of cataract surgery for 7 people. This gave them their sight back and the opportunity to reclaim their lives. Additionally, the cost for 70 people to get health screenings was covered.

Foundation For Defined Future Uganda

We are a group of 20 volunteers who have started this fundraiser for school supplies for children in Uganda. We decided to start this fundraiser for this cause because many children have been rendered incapable of attending school due to COVID-19. Furthermore, many parents throughout the country are very poor and cannot afford even food to eat. It is on this note that Foundation for Defined Future Uganda wants to donate school supplies – especially digital training materials across the country. Please help us bring these children and schools much-needed assistance and support.

Leigh High School Embrace Relief Club COVID-19 Refugee Relief

The World Health Organization urges everyone to stay clean and avoid large crowds for coronavirus not to spread faster and become more aggressive. Following these recommended guidelines is almost impossible for refugees in Greece. Currently, there are approximately 70,000 refugees placed into overcrowded and unsanitary refugee camps which are meant to hold only 6,200 refugees in Greece. So, we as high school students want to help families in Greece get sanitizing supplies and help Embrace Relief place more refugee families in safe housing. Please help us bring these refugees much needed assistance and support.
