Providing Internet Connectivity For All Students

Embrace Relief is partnering with the FBI Newark Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBINewarkCAAA) to bring internet access to the estimated 90,000 students in New Jersey that lack it.

Due to COVID-19, remote learning is expected to continue throughout the rest of the 2020-2021 school year and might go on even longer. COVID-19 has brought continuous uncertainty in all aspects of life. But, one thing is sure, thousands of N.J. students will fall behind in school if they do not have access to the internet, which is necessary for remote learning. Students will face struggles like never before, and we are dedicated to helping them as much as we can.

Children are our future, and they are counting on us to prepare them as best we can for what is to come. Together, we must do our best to bring to help them excel in learning so they can grow up to be bright, confident, productive members of society.

Please join us in providing students in New Jersey the rightful opportunity to learn as we continue to adapt to our “new normal.”

The Eid al-Adha holiday marks the end of July this year and is a source of joy and celebration for billions of people around the world. Unfortunately, millions of refugee children around the globe will welcome this Eid holiday away from their homes, people they love, and their favorite toys. This year, you can bring them joy and happiness to celebrate this special holiday. Embrace Relief and Set Them Free have joined forces to bring comfort and hope to refugee children this Eid al-Adha in Greece by giving them the gift of a pair of shoes and toys. For just $25, you can send a pair of shoes and gifts to a refugee child to celebrate Eid. In the sixty seconds, it will take you to read this, 20 more people will flee their home country out of fear from war, persecution, violence, terror, and fear and become refugees. To become a refugee means leaving everything one knows behind, including family, friends, home. There are currently 79.5 million displaced people around the world, of which, 31 million are children. Children refugees are among the most vulnerable populations globally and often do not fully comprehend what has happened, why they left their homes, or what will happen. Refugee families often only travel with one bag that holds very little. As the journey to freedom is dangerous and exhausting, their clothes and belonging are often lost or ruined. Youth of Madison Water Well

Many people, including children and women, die every day due to a lack of access to clean water in Africa and all around the world. Nonetheless, having fairly easy access to clean water, we often tend to take it for granted – and even waste it from time to time.

This water-well project is an attempt to first remind ourselves that water is a gift from God to all of us and not everyone can have as much of it as they want; and second, to give back to those communities that do not have easy access to clean water in order to take care of their daily needs, and therefore lose their lives. We, the youth of Madison, WI, invite you to contribute to our project as much as you can both with your donations and by spreading the word!
