International Hunger Relief 2020

Did you know that there is enough food produced to feed all 7 billion people around the world? Yet, more than 820 million people go hungry each year! With the current pandemic crisis, this number is increasing drastically by the minute. COVID-19 threatens to force the world’s hungriest to life-threatening extremes and force many into food insecurity.

Some of the most vulnerable countries may face the choice of trying to save people infected by the virus only for them to fall prey to hunger.

Hunger doesn’t stop for a pandemic, and neither do we. To help combat this, Embrace Relief will be delivering food packs to those in need during this time of uncertainty and confusion.

Mrizos Care

School children in grades 7-12 are extremely susceptible and vulnerable to the Coronavirus as schools begin to re-open. Having these kids in close-quarters will increase the likelihood of them spreading or contracting the virus. This is why we have come together to raise funds to keep our children in Johannesburg, South Africa, safe with personal protective equipment (PPE). PPE that we will provide to these children include face masks, antibacterial hand soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant spray. Social distancing will be continuously encouraged and enforced, but we must take every precaution to keep these children safe.  Our team will check if the masks are in good condition and continue to educate the kids on the importance of hygiene, social distancing, and COVID-19. Please help us keep our children safe: They are our future!

Community Welfare Organization

Our Community Welfare Organization works in social work for many different sectors. During this time, the entire world is facing and fighting COVID-19. Therefore, we decided to start a Group FUNdraiser with our Community Center to help people who are poor or financially insecure with food and medical help. Right now, we all have to look out for one another and help in any way we can. Our goal is to help those who do not have access to food or medical resources get the support and assistance they need. Please help us in our mission to keep our community safe and help those less fortunate!
