COVID-19 Food Pantry Fundraiser

COVID-19 has forced millions of unemployed families across the United State to choose between paying bills or buying food for their families. Many people are ineligible for government aid and must seek out food pantries to feed their families on a daily basis. Unfortunately, food pantries have become the main source of food for more people than ever before – making the shelves empty faster than they can be stocked. This is why Embrace Relief and Peace Islands Institute are working together to help re-stock the barren shelves of food pantries and so can you! Please join us in feeding hungry American families by making any donation big or small. Any amount can make a huge difference for a hungry family in need.

COVID-19 Medical Supply Fundraiser

As COVID-19 spreads worldwide panic and hysteria, hospital workers are on the frontlines working tirelessly to heal those infected and stop the spread of this deadly virus. Social distancing, self-quarantine, and proper hygiene are just a few ways we can help lessen the spread and ease their burdens

This unprecedented pandemic has exhausted medical supplies and protective equipment causing our essential healthcare professionals to reuse medical masks, gloves, and other protective gear. It has been reported that hospital staff is reusing these protective essentials for up to 7 days. This not only puts them at a higher risk of contracting the virus and spreading it to others but also to the uninfected patients and their own loved ones at home.

The CDC, Surgeon General, healthcare professionals, and state representatives have highlighted the danger of medical supply shortages. This has prompted citizens to donate and contribute to giving these healthcare workers the supplies they need to properly, effectively, and safely do their jobs

Embrace Relief is asking that we all come together to help each other by sending needed supplies to frontline hospital staff such as masks, hand sanitizer, and anti-bacterial soap. These essential supplies will save the lives of thousands and keep people safe.

COVID-19: We Are in This Together!

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the lives of millions around the world and almost every aspect of society. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) encourages everyone to self-isolate by staying home and limiting contact with the outside world. COVID-19 is the most serious health crisis in modern history infecting more people every day, leaving many in a state of limbo wondering when life will return to normal. Self-isolation can cause many people to feel lonely and detached from the world, but being alone together is what is bringing us all together right now. We are all facing this crisis together which is why we need to lend a helping hand and to support those around us more than ever before.  Unfortunately, many immigrants and asylum seekers don’t have the privilege of self-isolating since many are forced into overcrowded and unsanitary detention camps. Furthermore, many are losing their jobs, resulting in losing their homes and facing financial difficulties. These individuals are struggling to find ways to survive, and although this is a nerve-racking time, there has never been a need for people to stand together in the face of fear.  As we find a way to cope with this pandemic it is important to remember to look out for neighbors, friends, and families. During this time, we must remind ourselves how fortunate we are to be in a world full of technology where we can stay connected and help those in need. All citizens of the world must stand together by sticking up for those whose voices cannot be heard. Our main goal at Embrace Relief is to help and maintain this form of unity and support from others around us in times of need. That’s why we have set up the COVID-19 Support for the U.S. campaign to support people who have lost their jobs with rent, utility, food, and medical expenses to individuals who are struggling during this unprecedented time Click here if you would like to learn more about our campaign to support those being directly affected by COVID-19. Any amount big or small can make a difference in a life today!

You Can Save A Life!

We all have to look after each other right now because of the Coronavirus. Please, check on your neighbors and ask if there is anything you can do to help. Knock on their door, give a phone call, or even leave a note. It is said that people above the age of 50 years old that have pre-existing respiratory and heart conditions are more prone to contracting the virus. They might need food, water, and even toilet paper. All of these things can be life-saving. Thank you for all you do to make your community a better place!

Tennessee Tornado Fundraiser

[Photo]: The back of a home in Mt. Juliet after tornadoes hit Middle Tennessee early March 3. Larry McCormack/The Tennessean-U On March 3rd, 2020, several powerful tornadoes ripped through several cities in Tennessee, including Nashville. At least 24 lives were lost, and 18 are confirmed missing. The twisters may not have been on the ground for long, but their power was enough to cause massive amounts of damage. Homes were damaged or destroyed, trees uprooted, hundreds of utility poles broken leaving thousands without power. As a result of the powerful tornadoes, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee declared a state of emergency.  Despite the destruction, one thing that remains strong is the will to help recover and rebuild. We here at Embrace Relief continue to send help to those that need it, and right now we want to ask you to help us with helping Tennessee get back on its feet.
