Currently, Embrace Relief and Project C.U.R.E are in an ongoing partnership to provide medical equipment to the Clinic Gaoussou Fofana and Clinic Planet Vision in the capital city of Bamako, Mali. Bamako has a population of over 1 million people that the clinics serve.
These clinics recently underwent an expansion of 6 new departments that include ophthalmology, dentistry, gynecology, otolaryngology services (ear, throat, and nose), urology, and orthopedics.
With the new additions of departments, the clinics require newly upgraded equipment. Unfortunately, due to a lack of financial resources, they won’t be able to properly treat those in need of medical attention. With your help and support, we will be able to deliver the necessary supplies and equipment so the clinics can run efficiently.
Here are a few of the types of equipment needed to fully have these departments up and running:
To perform a properly safe procedure all equipment and instruments need to be sterile and the operating room has to be well maintained. Due to the ever-growing population and only two clinics to serve it, it is understandable that the facilities are struggling to keep up.
Upgrading and improving the clinics will ensure that a higher volume of people will be served in safe and hygienic conditions. That’s why Embrace Relief needs help from supportive donors like YOU to contribute to helping the millions in Mali that are in great need of aid.
There’s no better feeling than knowing that your help can greatly impact someone’s life during times of difficulties.
The poorest country in the Arab world, Yemen, has been experiencing numerous crises that none of us could ever imagine. 3.6 million Yemenis have had to flee their homes to elsewhere in the country, scores of attacks have left half of the nation’s medical facilities in tatters, and a cholera outbreak has sickened some 2.3 million Yemenis, killing nearly 4000, but the worst part was the humanitarian toll the war took on the country. The United Nations classifies nearly one-quarter of the population of 30 million is malnourished.
According to the UN, Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world! Then the coronavirus hit.
COVID-19 could break Yemen. They don’t have a functioning health system facing the pandemic. WHO is expecting for the coronavirus to infect about half of Yemen’s population and kill an estimated 30,000 to 40,000. But the number could be much higher if no one will be able to help them. According to BBC News, an estimated 2 million children are malnourished, including almost 360,000 children under five years old who are struggling to survive. With only half of the country’s 3,500 medical facilities fully functioning, almost 20 million people lack access to quality healthcare. And almost 18 million do not have enough clean water or access to the right sanitation. More than 40% of Yemeni households are estimated to have lost their primary source of income and, consequently, find it difficult to buy even the minimum amount of food, stated by The World Bank.

In partnership with a local Yemeni charity, Embrace Relief distributes much-needed food packages to alleviate hunger and combat wide-spread famine throughout the country. Each package has 25 kg of wheat flour, 5 kg of rice, 5 kg of sugar, and 2 liters of cooking oil. Most of these packages will be delivered directly to the doors of those in need, while others will get picked up by families from our distribution center. Each one of these packages costs $50 each, and we are knocking onto your kind hearts to help these vulnerable families because every single penny will make a difference.

The Margaritas Charity Association was founded in Bulgaria in August 2018 by six friends, most of whom live in England and Spain. We are brought together by the desire to help the poor and suffering people in our homeland and around the world. Our main activity is year-round support for orphans in Bulgaria, but also in the case of disasters and diseases, we raise funds for the needy.
The Jannah Water Wells Project is a dream born in our hearts, and thanks to God, that dream is slowly coming true. In March 2019, in collaboration with Embrace Relief, we completed the first water well and began supplying much-needed drinking water to an African village in Chad. In May 2019, we completed our second water well to deliver drinking water to a village in Cameroon. In August 2019, we completed our third water well providing drinking water to Blablin, Nigeria. We completed our fourth water well to supply a village in Gassi, Chad with clean water in April, 2020. We were able to finish fundraising for the fifth and sixth Jannah Water Wells, which are now under construction. Now, we are starting fundraising for the seventh Jannah Water Well in Chad. Help us deliver one of the basic needs of this tormented nation.
The country of Mali – specifically the capital city of Bamako – is affected by several conditions that have made them lack access to quality healthcare or to any healthcare at all because of ethnic and political conflicts, severe weather conditions consisting of extremely hot and dry summers coupled with harsh dust, rainy seasons with torrential monsoons, and deadly but preventable illnesses and diseases such as cataract removal, malaria, and meningitis.
Embrace Relief has organized a project called “Mali Hospital Project” in partnership with Project C.U.R.E. to provide much needed medical supplies to Clinic Gaoussou Fofana and Clinic Planet Vision in Bamako, Mali. This was founded to provide efficient medical equipment in the hopes to strengthen a system of healthcare which is severely insufficient, and to allow thousands of Mali’s citizens to be cured of their illnesses and return to being productive members of society.
Clinic Gaoussou Fofana and Clinic Planet Vision have undergone extensive renovations to expand from two medical departments to six. These medical departments include but do not limit to ophthalmology, dentistry, gynecology, otolaryngology services (ear, throat, and nose), urology, and orthopedics.
The clinics still need the following equipment and more in order to finalize renovations:
They need your help. With everything that’s been happening, they are still hoping that someone is looking out for them. And that can be YOU. The future depends on what you do today. With your donation, you can help millions of people have access to much-needed healthcare and improve their lives for years to come. The community will directly thrive and day by day build lives for themselves.
